Eduperience – Teacher Training Workshop
Last week, we organized a three-hour micro:bit teacher training workshop aimed at educators working in primary and secondary schools. Through this event, we hoped to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in STEM teaching, providing inspiration and support for their STEM education careers.
This training was designed from the perspective of educators, offering diverse teaching methods and relevant content to help teachers master the fundamental knowledge and applications of micro:bit. Participants then had the opportunity to experiment with various sensors to create different micro:bit invention devices.
The training also provided detailed explanations of key teaching considerations to help teachers more easily grasp the relevant knowledge after the workshop and better prepare for their future teaching.
In addition to explaining the core concepts of micro:bit, we also shared some practical and engaging STEAM teaching tips with the teachers that are closely related to everyday life. We hope to help them create a more relaxed and enjoyable learning environment, ignite students’ enthusiasm for STEAM, and enhance their creativity and problem-solving skills.
As this workshop was exclusively available to members of the “Joyful Edu-Friendly Tutor Program,” if you are interested in future teacher STEAM training workshops, please leave your contact information so we can follow up with you. This will enable us to stay in touch and keep you informed about upcoming training opportunities. Let’s explore more possibilities in STEAM education together!
