As an official partner and instructor organization of Gigo, Eduperience provides Gigo STEAM courses to numerous primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong and has established competition training classes. We place great emphasis on the professional development of our instructors to ensure the best possible learning experience for our students. Accordingly, several months ago, we sent our instructor team to Gigo’s headquarters in Taiwan for training to enhance their teaching quality. This commitment reflects not only our dedication to teaching excellence but also our ongoing efforts to advance STEAM education.
We are pleased to share our experience participating in the Gigo Overseas Instructor Training Camp. This training camp not only provided us with an in-depth understanding of the latest teaching methods for Gigo building blocks but also offered a valuable opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with educators from various regions.

Exchange and Sharing of Knowledge
During the training camp, our founder, Mr. Chen Junwei, served as one of the assistant instructors, sharing our experiences in promoting and teaching Gigo building blocks in Hong Kong with partners from various countries. At the same time, we were honored to personally attend a course led by Mr. Ming Xuan, a distinguished Gigo instructor, which covered the latest trends and practical experiences in Gigo building blocks and STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Our partners from the Asian region—including educators from Indonesia, India, Vietnam, and Thailand—also contributed their unique insights shaped by diverse backgrounds and cultures.

In-depth Understanding of Gigo’s Latest Products
A highlight of this training camp was gaining an in-depth understanding of Gigo’s latest products. We had the opportunity to personally experience the design and functionality of the new AI building blocks. These products not only offer greater flexibility in teaching but also incorporate advanced technological elements such as AI programming and robotics. We learned how to effectively integrate these new products into classroom instruction to enhance students’ motivation and engagement.
Learning Through Practice
The training camp also included numerous hands-on sessions that allowed us to personally experience how to design and implement courses. Through group discussions and interactive activities, we learned how to flexibly utilize Gigo building blocks to promote student collaboration and communication. These experiences have further strengthened our conviction that learning through building blocks can effectively enhance students’ interest and hands-on skills.

Continuing Friendship and Collaboration
Beyond learning, this training camp also provided us with the opportunity to connect with friends from diverse backgrounds. Engaging with partners from Indonesia, India, Vietnam, and Thailand allowed us to gain deeper insights into the educational challenges and innovations in other regions. We look forward to fostering further collaboration with these partners in the future, working together to promote the development of STEAM education across Asia through Gigo building blocks.
Conclusion
The experience of attending the Gigo Overseas Instructor Training Camp has not only enriched the professional knowledge of our instructor team but also filled us with great anticipation for future teaching endeavors. We look forward to sharing the knowledge and experience we have gained with more students, enabling them to learn through play and explore limitless possibilities.
