The "Hong Kong R4M Robot Mission Challenge 2025 – Pilot Competition" successfully concluded on May 10. Organized by Everyday Education, this event was introduced from Taiwan and held in Hong Kong for the first time. Serving as the pilot competition for the Hong Kong region of the World Mechanic King Championship, the event showcased participants’ ingenuity and creativity as they tackled challenges by integrating robotics, science, and programming—making for an exciting and dynamic competition.
We would like to once again thank all the schools and students for their enthusiastic participation in the first edition of the competition. We hope every participant gained meaningful experience from the event. The champion team will have the opportunity to travel to Taiwan to represent Hong Kong in the world championship. We also extend our sincere gratitude to our supporting organizations—Gigo, BABYBOOM LEARNING COMPANY LIMITED, and JSIT (Joint Schools Information Technology Association)—for their invaluable support in making this competition a success.
Additionally, we are honored to have invited Dr. Tang Siu Shing, a physics expert dedicated to promoting science education, to deliver the guest speech at the awards ceremony.
